In this class, we investigate the human form. Through a better understanding of gesture we learn to develop a comprehensive and engaging image of the human form.  We will draw from the figure using both short and long poses throughout our six weeks, ranging from a couple of minutes to sustained poses that continue through two sessions. Using mainly charcoal on paper, we experiment with the process and discuss materials as they pertain to drawing. Multiple mediums are allowed, however the focus is on charcoal. Class includes model fee.
